Here's something you don't see every day: pictures of the space shuttle taking off into space… as seen from space!

Last September, a space shuttle launch occured when the International Space Station was positioned overhead... the pictures below were taken through a window of that space station.

These pictures were provided to a friend of L. by Ryan Patterson who works at Lockheed-Martin. The friend forwarded them to L. who forwarded them to me.
